Renowned Neuro Spinal Surgeon Dr.P.S.Ramani’s Biopic ‘TAATH KANA’ , poster released
“A life led without a spine is nothing much than a whine.” World renowned PLIF Surgeon Dr. Premanand Ramani has transformed the lives of thousands of his patients by enabling them to live life with an erect spine. His landmark achievements in overcoming life-impairing spine ailments are based on radical research, innovative approach and humanitarian values. The exciting graph of his career has been artistically presented in the forthcoming ‘first on the subject’ Marathi movie “Taath Kana”. Poster of the movie was released on 16th October on the occasion of “World Spine Day’, in presence of Dr.Premanand Ramani, Producer of the film Vijay Mudshingikar, Karan Rawat, Director Girish Mohite, actor Suyog Gore and Umesh Kamat, who has played role of the visionary Doctor.
Dr. Ramani’s life was full of challenges from a very young age. But it is also a life of triumphs achieved with determination, courage, skill and intelligence. His path breaking work has been always guided towards the wellbeing of the society. As a result, he has been instrumental in giving a new life to thousands of patients. No wonder, his autobiographical book ‘Taath Kana’ is in 18th edition and is still going strong. The movie based on the book is helmed by Director Girish Mohite and is now ready for release.
According to Umesh Kamat, playing the role of Dr.Ramani, was itself an act of providence. Girish Mohite said that the opportunity of directing a different movie ‘Taath Kana’ was an opportunity to study such an incomparable personality and it really was an unforgettable journey. For Dr Ramani, the journey of his life in the form of a movie was definitely very gratifying.
‘Taath Kana’ has been written by Shrikant Bojewar. Cinematography is by Krishna kumar Soren and Editing is by Nilesh Gavand. Art direction is by Mahesh Kudalkar. Music is by Avinash –Vishwajit. Prashant Pawar is the executive Producer. The movie ‘Taath Kana’ is produced by Vijay Mudshingikar of ‘Pradnya Creations’ and Karan Rawat of ‘Spring Summer Films’.
