Review : Ant Man and The Wasp Quantumania : Technical brilliance laced with emotions and humour!

The third installment of the #AntMan franchise and the first film in the 5th phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), #AntManandTheWaspQuantumania. This is an amazing really well produced movie. The actors and actresses are amazing especially the amazing and charming #PaulRudd and let’s not forget #KathrynNewton who is so beautiful and talented and so is #JonathonMajors.

The movie opens with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) leading a normal life with wife Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly). He is very keen to protect his daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) and tries to keep her away from the Quantum realm. But Cassie builds a device with the help of her grandfather Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), through which one can travel to the Quantum Realm. Her grandmother Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) gets angry when she comes to know of it and asks Cassie to stop sending signals to the strange world beneath the Earth. But, before Langs try to salvage the damage, damage has already been done. Because they get taken to the Quantum Realm. What happens next in this bizarre world forms the crux of the happenings.

The CGI and visual effects in the Quantum Realm is just futuristically amazing. The story leans on emotional bonds and subtle sense of humour keeps viewers interested in the proceedings. Kang is said to be the most powerful and dangerous villain, who even kills Avengers in an alternate universe, but in Ant-Man 3, he was shown as less powerful. Some wow elements will be liked by the MCU’s loyal fans. A drink that can translate languages, moving building etc is interestingly entertaining. Paul Rudd has entertained again like in the other two Ant-Man movies. His comedy timing is to the point. The Wasp, played by Evangeline Lilly, is okay and has less space to perform. Janet’s role is quite important who is aware of the dangers in the offing, in the Quantum Realm. Janet scores with sober performance and Cassie looks charming and performs well too.

Do wait until the end credits roll up, as the MCU team gives a glimpse of an upcoming big Marvel movie.
