Rishab Shetty’s National Award winning film, ‘Sarkaari Hiriya Praathamika Shaale, Kaasaragodu, Kodugé: Raamanna Rai’ celebrates 6th anniversary!
Rishab Shetty has always delivered compelling content that created a phenomenon of success. While Kantara is one amongst such films from Rishab that won the National Award and also made him win the National Award for Best Actor, it was his 2018 film Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai also won a National Award. Today, the film celebrates its 6th anniversary and it’s a perfect time to relish this masterpiece from Rishab.
Rishab backed the film as a producer, writer, and director and left a significant mark with the socio-political comedy-drama Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai. The story of the film is about a group of children study in a Kannada-medium school in a village in Kerala. When greedy government officials try to shut down the school, the children band together to save their school. The film was a perfect blend of comedy amid a socio-political backdrop.
While the film was declared a blockbuster at the box office, it also won the prestigious National Film Award for Best Children’s Film at the 66th National Film Awards. The film also received positive reviews.
On the work front, Rishab Shetty is working on delivering a divine experience like never before with the highly anticipated Kantara Chapter 1. Additionally, he is in talks with Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowariker for a potential collaboration.
