Rohit Choudhary supports Nana Patekar in the slapping controversy!
A video has been going viral since yesterday where actor Nana Patekar can be seen slapping a man who wanted to click a selfie with him. The incident took place on the set of Anil Sharma’s next film – Journey in Benaras. Nana Patekar has now reacted to the incident and come up with a video clearing all the doubts. Nana clarified that he thought the boy was part of the rehearsal of the scene and he slapped him as it is part of the scene.
Now Rohit Choudhary, who is also a part of the film Journey, comes ahead in support of Nana Patekar. He says,”The way Nana Patekar himself came ahead and clarified everything shows his honesty and personality. He has also mentioned in his video that he is looking for the boy so he can apologise to him. I feel this should end the discussion and people should stop trolling him. I have met Nana during the mahurat of the film and also spoken to him personally. Whatever I experience about him is simply extraordinary, and exemplary. He is someone who will always sort the problems on set if something happens. He has the greatness in him. The whole Benaras is in support with Anil Sharma and Nana Patekar. The film’s shooting is going on smoothly. I have personally spoken to the Maharaj of Manikarnika and Raja Harishcandra Ghat where the last rites take place and they expressed that the crew is shooting there peacefully.” Rohit also adds “One should also understand that when a shooting starts in any particular city/state the whole place gets benefitted. People get more work and the tourist values also increases. When someone apologizes, people should let go and move on.”
