Romit Raj recently shot for a special segment in the well-liked ongoing show Vighnaharta Ganesha. To be on the sets during this new normal was a task in itself. While It was not easy for the actor as well but he did condition his mind, prepared himself for the same.

It’s a 2.5 hours drive. Coming back home too when there is a lot more traffic it would take much longer, hence I Stayed back. The last day I shot till 11.15 in the night and returned to Mumbai Round 2 in the morning. All these challenges were worth doing because my role Shreedhar got a lot of love from the audience,” says Raj adding that he enjoys doing historical and mythological shows. The story that the actor was a part of was the one narrating how Mata Vaishno Devi devotee Shreedhar yarns for the goddess and her blessing. From day one he had made me comfortable. His feedback and guidance only get the best out of you. He is the kind of director that every actor wants to collaborate with. Shooting from9 in the morning to 11.15 in the evening, you need to stay charged up. He made sure we had fun working, kept us pepped up all the time,” Raj showers more praises on Sharma.
Talking About the kind of roles that he wants to do moving ahead, the actor shares that is open to experimenting. “I don’t want to limit myself when it comes to characters or mediums. At this point in my career I want to work with good directors and production houses. When you work with a good team and collaborate on a good story coupled, the journey becomes special. Adding to all these, would be the character that I am portraying,” adds Raj, who enjoys being in front of the camera. In future he might explore avenues behind the camera as well.
