Saanand Verma on Makar Sankranti, ‘I used to fly kites in my childhood but now we don’t get any’!

Actor #SaanandVerma is a popular name in the entertainment industry and he shares his fondest #MakarSankranti memory with us. He says,”Makar Sankranti is a beautiful festival. I still remember when I was a kid, waking up at 5 in the morning and our mom used to take us for a bath at river Ganga. After that we would eat Dahi chiwda, tilkut and some namkeen. So every year I used to wait for Makar Sankranti because my favourite was til ka ladoo and Dahi chiwda. During my childhood I have also enjoyed “Patang baazi”. I used to fly kites in my childhood but now we don’t get any opportunities. Kite flying was so much fun. This festival gives me a lot of positivity. Apart from flying kites there is delicious food stuff which is attached to this festival.”

At the work front Saanand is part of some great projects.
He adds,”I am doing Guilty Minds for a digital platform. The director is Shefali Bhushan. My co-star in Guilty Minds is Shriya Pilgaonkar. She plays a lawyer, and I am playing a shrewd, opposing lawyer named Ravish Goyal. He is highly educated and does something extraordinary, which no lawyer has done. It is a real-life character. It is a courtroom drama. All my projects will be released within three months if all goes well. I have six films but can’t talk about them as I have not yet signed the agreement. They all are from big production houses. Verma has done series like Sacred Games, Apharan in the past and he will also be seen in the second season of Apharan.
