‘Sagar Jyoti’ will narrate a love story revolving around two young hearts!
#SagarSen returns back from abroad to Kolkata to stay with his family. His mother, #NilimaSen is a businesswoman who does not have great relations with her husband. They do not see eye to eye on most things. Sagar likes Jyoti, a girl who lives in the slums. Her father runs a small eatery shop and her mother works at different houses. Sagar’s mother dislikes Jyoti for obvious reasons. What will happen to Sagar and Jyoti? This is the main crux of the new serial Sagar Jyoti that will be streaming on Enterr10 Bangla.
Sayantani Mullick plays Uma. She is a practical woman who does not tolerate any injustice. The actress said that she was like Uma in real life and so she can completely relate with the character. Enterr10 Bangla has been doing amazing work outside Bengal. I hope that this will be liked by the viewers in Bengal” said Sayantani.
Sreetama plays Pamela Sen who is a negative character. She is the daughter-in-law of the Sen household. “She is very nyaka. And I am not that in real life. So that is a real challenge for me as an actress. Some of my co-stars like Chandreyee Ghosh started laughing during the shooting. I just hope that the audience loves me as Pamela” said the actress.
Nilima Sen will be played by Chandreyee Ghosh. “She is a confident business woman who is overly possessive about her son. This is not a good thing. The makers have not compromised with the look and feel of this serial. We are having a good time shooting the serial and we hope that the audiences will also love the serial equally”, said the actress.
Rahul Dev Bose will be seen playing the role of an entrepreneur, named Sagar Sen. Sagar belongs to a rich and influential family. He is ambitious and quite passionate about his work. Nabanita Malakar, on the other hand, will essay Jyoti who belongs to a lower-middle class family. Her family runs a roadside food stall and she dreams to start a five star hotel.
