‘Sai Janm Katha’, a never-told-before story of Sai Baba’s life in ‘Mere Sai: Shraddha Aur Saburi’!

‘#SaiJanmKatha’ will commence with child actor #GunavMalhotra portraying the role of Bal Sai and ace actor #GirishOak playing the role of a Sutradhaar narrating the story.

Sai Baba has a huge following and His message of, ‘Shraddha Aur Saburi, which means, ‘Faith and Patience’ resonates with millions of Sai followers and stands true even in today’s day and age. Over the years, His teachings have brought solace to millions of His disciples all over the world. Mere Sai: Shraddha Aur Saburi that airs on Sony Entertainment Television has not only consistently inspired its audience in different ways but has also offered a sound ‘seekh’ in every episode.

Taking this a step further, the makers will be introducing a new chapter unveiling the Birth or Sai – a narrative that has never been explored before on television. ‘Sai Janm Katha’ will see reputed actor Girish Oak essay the role of ‘sutradhaar’ taking the viewers on a journey through the Sai’s childhood starting 29th November.

While the show recently completed 1000 successful episodes, ‘Sai Janm Katha’ promises to be yet another celebrated milestone for the show.

To commemorate this special moment and unveil the upcoming track, the leads of the show; Tushar Dalvi and Kishori Godbole along with Girish Oak visited the Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir in Shirdi to seek His blessings. They were joined by child actor Gunav Malhotra who will be seen portraying the role of Bal Sai.

Tushar Dalvi, essays the role of Sai Baba – I feel it was about time that we, the entire team of ‘Mere Sai: Shraddha aur Saburi’ visited ‘Shirdi’ to express our gratitude to Baba for constantly showering us with his blessings. All of us are so blessed to be associated with this show and we’re just filled with so much gratefulness and love. It’s our absolute honor to bring to fore a never-seen-before tale of Sai Baba, that of his birth on the show. We are blessed to have our viewers support us from all over and for being with us throughout in this wonderful journey. Girish Oak, portrays the role of a ‘Sutradhaar’ in the upcoming Sai Janm Katha track – I am elated to be joining the team of Mere Sai.
