Saie Tamhankar, Sachit Patil, Mukta Barve and Satish Rajwade come together for ‘Asambhav’!

While the Marathi film industry has been witnessing of producers handling newer and off-the-track subjects and actors tapping challenging roles, the older trends of repeating films with popular actor pairs has become a yesteryears story. The producers have been tying with actors with different style of acting and with different and innovative subjects. Amid the new trend, the audience will experience yet another such experiment as “Asambhav” a new film starring #SachitPatil, #MuktaBarve, #SaiTamhankar and #SatishRajwade, was launched on the occasion of Dussehra.

Set to release on May 1, 2025, “ Asambhav ” will see popular and talented actors pitted against each other, the film is directed by Pushkar Shrotri. As Sachit Patil, Mukta Barve, Sai Tamhankar and Satish Rajwade are coming together on the screen for the first time, actor and director Sachit Patil is also associated with noted producer Nitin Vaidya for the first time too. They have formed Mumbai Pune Films Entertainment. Nitin Prakash Vaidya, who has produced hit and award winning films like “Nal”, “Gachchi”, “Man Fakira”, Ekada Kaay Jhale, Alibaba Ani Chalishitil .

Mumbai Pune Films Entertainment Formed by Sachit Patil and Nitin Prakash Vaidya, has partnered with Sharmishtha Raut and Tejas Desai from Ericon Telefilms’s as a producer of Asambhav Marathi film. Ericon Telefilms is the producer of the popular Marathi TV Shows Tula Shikwin Changlach Dhada and Navari Mile Hitlarla and also produced the successful film ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’.

Another feature of the film is that leading Marathi actor Pushkar Shrotri who had directed Haay Kaay Naay Kaay and Ubantu (2017) is directing Asambhav.

Sachit Patil known for his popular films like Saade Maade Teen, Kshanbhar Vishranti, Zenda, Arjun, Friends, One Way Ticket and Classmate will be seen in the leading role in the film, apart from directing it. Sachit is a household name now, especially after his popular TV serial Aboli, which is on air for the last three years.

Along with this, actress Mukta Barve, who has been impressing everyone with her acting skills in popular play ‘Char Choughi’ fo blockbuster Marathi films ‘Naach Ga Ghuma’, and actress Sai Tamhankar, who has made a successful mark in Marathi and Hindi films like ‘Duniyadari’ and ‘Mimi’, as well as OTT platforms with her performances in ‘Bhakshak’ and ‘Manavat Murder’, will also be seen in lead roles in the film.

Apart from this, another notable feature of this film is that Satish Rajwade, who has directed successful romantic films like ‘Premachi Goshta’, ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai’ series, ‘Ti Sadhya Kay Karte’, and the recent thriller web series ‘Samantar’, will be seen acting in this film as an actor after a long time.

The film ‘Asambhav’ brings together such powerful actors, but is it a mystery or a thriller? Is it a completely new story or does it have connections with an old one? The answers to all these questions and what exactly will be seen in this film are still under wraps.”

As Sachit Patil, while speaking about the film said that Some of us have worked together in films before, but this is the first time we have come together to act in the same film.
