Saleem Zaidi says that maintaining clean language and dialogue is not something you see in every comedy show!

Actor #SaleemZaidi says that making a show like #BhabijiGharParHai is tricky nowadays but also a need of the hour. The actor, who plays the role of Tillu in the show produced by Binaiferr and #SanjayKohli says that maintaining clean language and dialogue is not something you see in every comedy show.

“It is a big challenge for the production house and it all depends on what you are serving the audience, unlike the web shows of today, where nothing is complete without a bad word,” he says.
To add to this, the actor says that comedy, itself, is not easy. “Comedy is not a cakewalk, the other name of comedy is timing. So, when the actor’s mood is great then the timing is also perfect. Also, the show must go on because it is because of us that people are getting entertained, so no matter what, we all must make people laugh,” he says.

The actor says that the show has given him a lot personally as well. “In 2014, someone told my father Master Ali Zamin Zaidi, that he watched me on Bhabiji as Tillu and he said that he really liked me seeing on screen, this thing brought tears in my father’s eyes and he told me that he is really proud of me,” he says.

Ask him what he loves to watch where comedy is concerned, and Saleem says, “Johny Lever’s film Bazigar. It has amazing comic timings. I also love Pakistani comedian Umar Sharif sir. I have learned a lot from him.”
