Shantanu Maheshwari personally relates to his character from ‘Ishq In The Air’!

Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free video streaming service recently unveiled its latest romantic-drama series, Ishq In The Air. With a spectacular rating of 8.5 on IMDb, this compelling series revolves around the contrasting lives of Naman and Kavya who fall in love after an unexpected encounter at an airport. Produced by #BBCStudiosProductions India, the series features Shantanu Maheshwari and Medha Rana in pivotal roles.

 

Shantanu Maheshwari who essays the role of Naman, a calm and sweet boy from Indore, shares what made him say yes to the series, “The narrative is quite charming, it is about two distinct worlds of two different individuals from two contrasting towns. The setting of the series is exceptionally picturesque, and my role as a photographer and Medha’s portrayal as a hairstylist, adds a layer of romance. Their meeting at the airport is something many can relate to, wishing for a love story like that. I am thrilled to be collaborating with the BBC once again after a considerable hiatus”.

 

Shantanu also spoke about personally relating with Naman’s life from the series, “I can relate with Naman’s family dynamics, his passion for photography and then finally gaining the confidence to make his own decisions.”
