Shatrughan Sinha shares anecdotes of the making of ‘Kalicharan’!

The 12th season of #SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s singing reality show #IndianIdol is all set to offer a double dhamaka this weekend with the presence of Bollywood’s eminent personalities – #ShatrughanSinha and #PoonamSinha for the Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha special episode. While the episode will brim with all things bright & glamourous, host Aditya Narayan will be seen adding the much required entertainment quotient and reminisce interesting anecdotes from the special guests long and fulfilling journey in the entertainment industry. Talking about some epic moments, Shatrughan Singh recollects the time when he partially dozed off during Subhash Ghai’s script-narration for the film ‘Kalicharan.’

Shatrughan Sinha goes on to narrate, “A very good friend of mine, family friend and wife’s brother, Subhash Ghai who was a new comer back then, narrated the script of Kalicharan to me. He said that mid narration, I dozed off. While that did happen but it is not completely true. The script narration took place at about 3 to 4 am in the morning and, I had just returned back from completing three to four movie shifts and by the time I reached home, it was 2 am. I immediately freshened up and met him at 4 am for the narration. I was tired, so yes, once can that say that I did partially doze off during the narration.”

He further adds, “But when it came to making the film, I gave my full support to Subhash Ghai, who is a very good friend and the interesting fact is that, apart from Kalicharan, I went on to do three more film with Subhash Ghai.”
