‘Showman’ Subhash Ghai’s Marathi film ‘Vijeta’ to re-release on 3rd December!

Due to Covid 19, films released just before first lockdown were adversely affected. They had to succumb to the pandemic impact and were helpless. Showman #SubhasGhai’s Marathi film ‘#Vijeta’ too was impacted due to lockdown. In fact it was released just before the lockdown was announced. Now since the corona impact is minimal, he has decided to re-release his sports-drama film ‘Vijeta’ in theatres.

Produced by Mukta Arts, “Vijeta” was released on March 12, 2020, but Subhash Ghai decided to cancel the screening of the film in a day due to the outbreak of corona. But now the situation is slowly re-emerging and Mukta Arts has decided to re-perform the winner. The film stars a number of well-known actors. Among them are Subodh Bhave, Puja Sawant, Pritam Kagane, Sushant Shelar, Madhav Devchakke, Mansi Kulkarni, Tanvi Kishor, Devendra Chowgule, Dipti Dhotre, Krutika Tulaskar and Gaurish Shipurkar.

With the background of the film, the performance of Maharashtra players in the previous National Games is not remarkable, so Dean of Maharashtra Sports Academy Varsha Kanvinde (Mansi Kulkarni) chooses Saumitra Deshmukh (Subodh Bhave) as the mind coach. Saumitra’s goal is to lead Maharashtra to victory. He works to boost the morale of all the players and motivate them to win the competition. The film is written and directed by Amol Shetge. Produced by Rahul Puri and Raju Farooqi along with Co-producer Suresh Pai, the film’s DOP is Uday Singh Mohite. Music of Vijeta has been composed by Rohan Rohan and the film is edited by Ashish Mhatre.
