Simaran Kaur on Fitness, “Pilates has been a game-changer for me”!

Simaran Kaur who is currently seen as #RiddhiChotwani in the TV show Jamai No. 1 produced by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Studio LSD, has been making waves in the entertainment industry, not only for her performances but also for her dedication to fitness. The actress credits her workout regime, particularly Pilates, and a balanced diet as integral elements in maintaining her on-screen charisma and overall confidence.

“Staying fit isn’t just about looking good; it’s about feeling strong and confident in your own skin,” Simaran said in a recent interview. “Pilates has been a game-changer for me. It not only helps me maintain my physique but also keeps me centred and happy.”

Simaran’s portrayal of Riddhi, a strong-willed and ambitious character in Jamai No.1, has garnered much attention. She revealed that maintaining her fitness helps her align physically and mentally with the character. “Pilates aids in perfecting my body language and posture, which are crucial for portraying a powerful, boss-like personality on screen,” she explained.

As the show progresses, viewers will see Neel, played Abhisehk Malik, navigating the challenges posed by Riddhi and her mother, Kanchan (Papia Sengupta), in their corporate dynamics, adding more intrigue to the storyline.

Looking back on 2024, Simaran described the year as a significant milestone in her career. “It’s been a year of growth and opportunities. I stayed focused on my craft, and thankfully, there were no major setbacks. Everything unfolded one step at a time,” she shared.

One of her standout achievements was her role in Tose Naina Milaike on Dangal TV, which became a massive hit, nearing 500 episodes. “My character had a unique fan base, and the love I received was overwhelming,” she said.

Simaran also embraced a fresh challenge with her comedic role in Tose Naina Milaike, a performance that showcased her versatility. “I never imagined myself in a comedy role, but the audience connected deeply with it. It was an incredible experience that pushed my boundaries as an artist,” she noted.
