Singer Rii’s new song ‘Baatein Uski’ is mysteriously beautiful
Bollywood singer Rii, who has given us hit singles like “Phir mulaqaat”, “Judaa”,and “Aaja”, is working as an independent artist. Rii’s new song Baatein Uski will release on 21st January. Actor Mohit Hiranandani is also featuring in the song.
Speaking more about her new song she says,”This is a romantic ballad that touches your heart and breaks into an eternal melody of love and its million emotions. Baatein Uski will melt into listeners ears.” The song has been shot in pandemic so how was your experience? “We have shot the entire song with limited crew and made sure that all of them got tested. We also followed all the SOP provided by the government. It was actually very different, but I guess we got to be careful and mindful about the virus. As we were shooting outdoor for 80% of the song I didn’t see much inconvenience but everyone around me was wearing their mask. The shoot has been split over 4 days on location. We got a very big property on the beach for the shoot. We didn’t want to build a set for the song wanted a location with a lot of past.”
Do you feel music video can be a good bridge between a song and the listener? “Yes more than a bridge it connects one another. The emotions can be relatable to your actual life or past one . Let the listener dream or live the lyrics of the song . Nothing better than that for me as an artist. Baatein Uski is very simple yet mystically beautiful. There’s a magic In simplicity and that’s what this song is about.”
The song is composed by Vivian Richard who is an Award winning Background Scorer at Cannes Festival. Music Producer and Backing Vocalist for films like Munna Michael, Natsamrat, FU, Pranaam, Bhikari, and Kaagaz. He is also also composing for an upcoming biopic on Jainism and some other Bollywood Film projects.
Vivian’s father Richard Mithra has been the lead guitarist and music arranger for legendary films like DDLJ, Kuch kuch hota hai, Khamoshi, Fanna, Hum tum, Kabhi khushi kabhi gham, Vaastav, Yes Boss, Chalte Chalte, Dabangg, Raju Chaacha, and Jab Pyaar kisi se hota hai. The lyricist of Baatein Uski, Rashmi Virag has directed this song and is his debut as a director. He has written many super hit songs for films like – Humari adhuri kahani, Azhar, Sarabjit, Sanam Re. ‘Main rahun ya na Rahun, chal wahan jate hai, halka halka, Arman malik’s tu mera nahi and many more.
