Soma Rathod is all praise for producer of ‘JCPKH’, Binaiferr Kohli!

Soma Rathod has been getting all the love from audiences for her portrayal of Sophia Sharma in Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai. The actor says that it’s not just the script but also her look on the show has garnered attention.

“My look in the show is lovely and different from the kind of roles and look I had flaunted earlier. It’s quite girly and kind of goes with my real life persona. The Bundelkhandi language my character speaks does not go with the look, which makes it all the more interesting. The show is pretty interesting and the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about the title is that it involves a lot of fun and enjoyment,” says the Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! actor.

While she is enjoying being a part of a horror-comedy, Rathod has never encountered ghosts in her life. But she did feel some presence at times, which is why she does have a little fear.

“The previous season of our show Jijaji Chhat Par Hai was much loved, so of course there’s pressure of living up to that success. So we are trying to take it a notch higher. It’s not easy to make people love. Having done a lot of comedies I know that quite well but I also have the experience,” she adds.

Rathod also praises the producer of the show Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli. “It’s wonderful to work with Sanjay sir and Binaiferr ma’am. I am mostly in touch with Binaiferr ma’am only. She’s very sweet, caring and is like a mother figure. It’s been almost six-seven years that I am working with them and experience has been special. She always keeps us together, offers us good opportunities,” she says.
