Somy Ali too expresses shock over Sidharth Shukla’s untimely demise!

Popular TV star #SidharthShukla’s sudden death reportedly due to a massive heart attack at the age of 40 shocked everyone. The entertainment industry, his friends, fans and well wishers have been mourning the loss. Actor-turned-humanitarian #SomyAli too expresses shock.

“This is beyond devastating to say the least. To lose someone so young and his family having to deal with his sudden demise is unfathomable,” says Somy, who now runs the NGO No More Tears (NMT) in Miami, US, that ‘assists and empower survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence’.

She adds that such incidents often leave an unforgettable mark in our heart. Somy also shares two incidents that NMT recently had to deal with to explain a true realisation. “Just last week we lost a three year old child to rape and strangulation. And, it was very hard for me personally to handle that death. We also had a victim who was stabbed repeatedly by her girlfriend and flatlined. She almost died but then thankfully came back to life. It was a miracle. But, all of this shows how unpredictable life is and how in less than a millisecond we can be completely gone. I see horrors daily due to the nature of my work. My sincere condolences to Sidharth’s family. Unfortunately, no one has to go through the grieving process, which is endless,” she ends.
