Sonali Jaffar says that in Covid-19 second wave If you don’t keep yourself safe, then you are endangering more lives!

The second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has worsened India’s situation to a greater extent than the damage caused last year. Writer-producer #SonaliJaffar, who is producing three shows – #QurbaanHua, #AapkiNazronNeSamjha and #TujhseHaiRaabta – under her banner #FullHouseMedia Pvt Ltd., shared that they have doubled the precautions now.

“Many thought corona was gone and the laxity and irresponsibility on their part is the reason many are suffering. If you don’t keep yourself safe, then you are endangering more lives. It’s time we understand that and act accordingly. Now, we are taking extra care and doubling the precautions. I just hope we sail through these bad times soon,” she said.

With the entertainment industry being based in Mumbai, they had to bear the brunt of the lockdown announced by the state government. The government once again put a halt on the shooting of TV shows, films and advertisement, this came as a new shock for the makers who were already dealing with change in the storyline with their cast and crew testing positive for Covid.

“Thanks to the media, everyone is aware and doing their bit. Since the audience also understands, the makers bring in some twist and turn in the story to keep them entertained. Meanwhile, the actor gets enough time to rest and comes back to set. In these unprecedented times, we all are there for each other. Our team is following all protocols and we have made things stricter both on and off the sets,” she added.

Sonali also spoke about how a few shows never saw the light of the day during the lockdown in March 2020. “It is a very unfortunate that there were shows that just fell by the wayside, some could not even make a comeback and some got dropped post the lockdown. But we are trying to take everything to our stride and work things out,” she concluded.
