Sonam Kapoor comes forward in support of daily wage earners

We are passing through difficult times due to covid 19 pandemic. As almost entire world is facing lockdown, we were not far behind. We had to face multiple lockdowns and resultantly many people are unable to earn money. All the shoots are scrapped indefinitely, people dependant on daily wages were the most affected. Though quite a few good samaritans came forward for help but it was not enough. As we are now under Unlock 1.0 phase, there’s no bright sign that film shoots will commence immediately due to stricter guidelines issued by the authorities.

In the wake of present situation, #SonamKapoor contributes and urges everyone to donate as well for an initiative to to raise funds and support the artist community and their families who have been left without any source of income, and have been affected by the pandemic in India, by creating a special film series. It is initiated by Raw Mango along with Kathak dancer and choreographer @aditimangaldas and #ArtMatters (@teamworkarts).

Sonam Kapoor, thought had to face a wrath on siocial media for her position on nepotism, has come forward and urged everyone to donate for the most affected daily wage earners.
