KBC to celebrate the pride of India, sportswomen Nikhat Zareen and Saikhom Mirabai Chanu in ‘CWG Special’ on 5th September!
Celebrating the success story that was ‘#India’ at the #CommonwealthGames2022 held in #Birmingham, #England, Sony Entertainment Television’s esteemed gameshow, ‘#KaunBanegaCrorepatiSeason14’ would be welcoming sportswomen and reigning champions, #NikhatZareen and #ChanuSaikhomMirabai on 5th September. Zareen would be celebrated for winning the gold medal in her boxing match against #CarlyMcNaul of #NorthernIreland and Mirabai would be praised for winning the gold medal for lifting a total of 201 kg in snatch and clean and jerk. Host #MrAmitabhBachchan would be warmly welcoming the sportswomen, proudly calling himself a fanboy rather than a host for the moment.
An evening that would make all Indians swell with pride as the guests narrate their success stories. The duo would be talking to Mr Bachchan about things ranging from how sported the Indian flag is in their dressing to them talking about the lives they used to lead before becoming global superstars in their respective fields of sport, representing India. While Mirabai Chanu would have Mr Bachchan dance the traditional Manipuri dance, ‘Thabal Chongba’ with her, joined by Nikhat, the latter would be showing the footwork of her inspiration, the greatest boxer in the world Muhammad Ali. Not only that but Nikhat would also be showing Big B her different styles of skipping evoking cheers from the audience. Nikhat would also be inviting her father, who came with her mother as companions and make him wear her gold medal, saying he deserves it more than her, making Mr Bachchan emotional.
Nikhat Zareen would be donating her winning proceeds to ‘Hyderabad Runner’s Society’ and the primary aim of this not-for-profit society is to help people lead active lifestyles by making running a preferred form of fitness activity. Mirabai Chau would be donating her winning amount to NEWS (Network of Economy and Welfare Service) which encourages blind, deaf and mute children to develop their extracurricular skills.
