Sony Marathi ready with fresh episodes of ‘Savitrijoti’
Savitribai and Jotirao Phule’s journey of coexistence has been shown in the series ‘Savitrijoti – Abhalaevadhi Manase Hoti’ (People with the stature of sky) on Sony Marathi channel. Ashwini Kasar plays Savitrimai and Omkar Govardhan plays Jotirao. The shooting of the serial Savitrijoti has commenced following all the rules laid down by the government. New episodes of the serial will be aired from July 20.
Jotirao’s education, his struggle to bring about change in the society, the support he received from Savitrimai, all this will all be seen in this serial. Savitribai educated herself and became the first female teacher in a time when women had no freedom. What will Jotirao choose between science and weapons for revolution, how will his educational and societal journey be, how will Savitrimai stand firmly behind him, will be seen by the audience in the coming episodes.
