Sony Marathi’s first singing reality show, ‘Singing Star’

Singing Star, a new program is starting on Sony Marathi. ‘Gaane Taryanche, Gaane Saaryanche’ is the tagline which is going to involve Everyone in their fold as Everybody has a song in their mind. The singing stars in this show are not singers by any profession but amateur singers, they don’t take time out from their regular work to sing, but their umbilical cord is not broken with the music and on this stage they are going to enthral audiences with their unhone craft.

Hruta Durgule, the darling and glamorous face of Maharashtra, will be emceeing this singing reality show. In fact it’s her first attempt at compeering a reality show. The judges are going to be big names from the marathi entertainment world. Prashant Damle, a well-known singer, actor and producer, whose name appears in the Limca Book Records. Bela Shende, a national award winning singer, who has lent voice to many actresses with her sweet voice. And lyricist-singer who has a place in the hearts of everyone in Maharashtra with his music compositions, Dr. Salil Kulkarni.

Another interesting fact about this show is that for each contestant, there’ll be a music teacher. Also many celebrities are slated to be visiting this show and that’s going to be more interesting to watch.

Sony Marathi has always been coming with new programmes and Singing Star is their first singing reality show. It’s scheduled to start In the month of August.
