‘Sony’ stars send Christmas wishes!

There is #Christmas cheer all around with the aroma of plum cakes and candy canes wafting through the air. The chill of the winter cannot dampen the merry spirits and the warmth of having friends and family around and the stars of #SonyEntertainmentTelevision have some brilliant plans for the day as well! Ringing in a merry merry #XMas, the actors from the library of shows on #SonyTV share their plans for 25th December.

Adnan Khan, playing Viaan Raghuwanshi, the protagonist of the new show ‘Katha Ankahee’, shares how Christmas will be celebrated a little differently by hi this year. He shares, “Christmas will be a little different this year. I love festivals because of the incredible food and gifts. I am a true foodie and have planned my vacations way ahead with my friends and family. Talking about gifts, I believe I like giving people gifts more than receiving them. I only believe in receiving love, which I have been receiving from my fans. Katha Ankahee has been receiving lots of love and appreciation, which is another reason why this Christmas is really special. I’d like to thank everyone and wish all Merry Christmas.”

Playing the titular Katha Singh Garewal, in ‘Katha Ankahee’, Aditi Sharma would talk about how the celebrations come in tow of the success of her show, “This year, “The love that my new show, Kathaa Ankahee is receiving has made my Christmas merrier. I am so energised for this Christmas Day celebration. I have already planned a Christmas party, and the main activity is going to be decorating the tree! In addition, I am baking cake and cookies and have a Secret Santa coming to grant gifts to my family and friends. I wish all my fans and viewers ‘Merry Christmas’ and hope for a bright and healthy future for everyone.”

Shubhaavi Choksey aka Nandini Kapoor of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 shares how she finds the festival to be beautiful, “Christmas is one festival that is celebrated on a grand scale all around the world. Anywhere you go during this period, it is decorated extremely beautifully. Along with this, it’s the food and the sales that go on too that makes it more interesting(laughs). It is really funny and maybe knaive of me but I have still not outgrown the Santa phase, honestly I feel that all my family and friends are Santa Claus in one way or the other. I like receiving gifts but more importantly, I love gifting. Our son is 10 years old but he still believes in Santa as I have always kept a gift at the Christmas tree. Despite travelling in any part of the world he has always received a gift on the 25th of December. The expression that I see each time is truly priceless. I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and would like to say that be a Santa not only to others but to yourselves too. Gift yourself with the happiness of the mind, body and spirit now and always!!

From Indian Idol Season 13, contestant Kavya Limaye from Vadodara spoke about celebrating Christmas with the Idol family this year, “Celebrating Christmas this year with my Idol family will surely be a blast. We have all planned for each other some interesting gifts that will be making our festive season merrier. I wish all the viewers of the show Merry Christmas. Keep supporting and loving us like this always.”

Sharing in the sentiments of his co-contestant, Vineet Singh from Lucknow also shared how he would celebrate Christmas on 25th, “Every year, Christmas brings joy and happiness to our lives. This year with my Idol family will be extraordinary. I am looking forward to this festive season and wish everyone ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS.'”

Comic Gaurav Dubey who takes on many avatars on The Kapil Sharma Show, spoke about the many ways he would be spreading Christmas cheer, saying, “Christmas is quite a special time for me because the festival brings with it the warmth of love and makes you forget the cold of the winter. I usually spend the day with my family and friends. We have jamming sessions and tell stories to each other about the year that has been. This year, my turn around the table will be special. I was a part of India’s Laughter Champion AND The Kapil Sharma Show, both of which have been a dream come true for me. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Stay safe, do not drink and drive!”
