Special screening of ‘Nail Polish’
Actor Arjun Rampal was in the news recently for the wrong reasons as the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) had summoned him for inquiry. But they say in show business that ‘Show must go on’. Likewise Arjun Rampal, despite personal problems, is not shunning away from his professional duties, Arjun was, along with his girlfriend Gabriela Demetriades, was present the special screening of his latest film ‘Nail Polish’.
A psychological thriller ‘Nail Polish’ is a murder mystery story presented in a different genre. It’s a courtroom drama that revolves around a murder trial where Veer Singh (Manav Kaul) is accused of murdering 38 migrant children. The case starts as a murder case of two small children and precipitates into gory happenings. Sid Jaising (Arjun Rampal) is a high-profile defense lawyer who takes up this case and decides to fight for him and reveal the truth. The plot gets complicated when he realises that the man he’s defending is not who he claims to be. This triggers a series of mind games where the protagonist loses the track of reality. It’s a legal thriller that explores the uncertainty of the human mind.
The special screening was held at Sunny Super Sound in Juhu, Mumbai where entire cast and crew were present. The director ugh Bhargava thanked everyone for attending the special screening and he was congratulated heavily after the show was over. His taut story telling compels viewers to be glued to the screen all the time. Apart from Arjun Rampal and Gabriela Demetriades, Bugs Bhargava, Rajit Kapoor, Anand Tiwari, Madhoo Shah were present and Sharad Kelkar and Sumeet Vyas stopped by to dish out well wishes.
