Squad VFX’s Rahul Kumar Tewary shares insights into his journey and ambitions!

Rahul Kumar Tewary, known for his acclaimed work in television production, is making a mark in the visual effects (VFX) industry with his company, #SquadVFX. Reflecting on the company’s progress in 2024, Rahul shared insights into its journey and ambitions.

“This is our first year of operation, and we’ve been steadily building relationships across the industry,” Rahul said. “2024 has been a fruitful year for us. Anil Sharmaji entrusted us with the project “Vanvaas”, and we successfully delivered the complete VFX for the film. Numerous web series, commercials , Bigg Boss18 etc , Additionally we’re working on a major South Indian film set to release in 2025, which is a significant milestone for us.”

Rahul credited the company’s achievements to its commitment to quality and the expertise of his team. “Our focus has always been on delivering top-notch work. I’m fortunate to have a talented team lead by Akhilesh Jain ( Vfx Head ) with the right mindset to produce exceptional VFX. With this strong foundation, I’m confident 2025 and beyond will see Squad VFX playing a pivotal role in creating outstanding cinematic experiences,” he added.

When asked about the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in the VFX industry, Rahul expressed enthusiasm. “Technology is advancing at an incredible pace, and AI is undoubtedly a transformative force. It’s not a competitor but an ally, streamlining processes and enabling creators to visualize concepts faster and more efficiently. We see AI as a tool to enhance filmmaking, and we’re eager to grow alongside these advancements,” he explained.

Addressing the need for an in-house photographer, Tewary mentioned, “Professional photography is essential for presenting our projects in the best light, whether it’s promotional material or showcasing our portfolio. This step aligns with our dedication to maintaining high standards in every aspect of our work.”

With a clear vision and an innovative approach, Squad VFX is carving a niche in the competitive VFX landscape. As Tewary looks ahead to 2025, his team is poised to deliver even more groundbreaking projects that will leave a lasting impact on the industry.
