Sumukhi Pendse, once again, to play a dominant character in ‘Bawara Dil’!
Colors has intrigued and excited the audience with the promo launch of its new show Bawara Dil. While the promo establishes that Shiva and Siddhi are at loggerheads with each other, they stand unaware of the consequences of Akkabai’s powers and influence that will impact their lives in the future.
Television fame Sumukhi Pendse has been roped in to play yet another dominant character Chandrakanta Deshmane aka Akkabai in Colors’ hateful love story, ‘Bawara Dil’.
Akkabai is the political leader of the Rudrayat village of Maharashtra and marks a milestone in the political history of the village. All because of a 26 year-old boy, Shiva Lashkare.
Elated to be playing the role of Akkabai in Bawara Dil Sumukhi Pendse says, “They say you become what you think and such is the story of Akkabai. I am known to play powerful and dominating characters on screen, but I always felt that something is missing. When Akkabai’s character was offered to me I felt like I found a missing block of the picture I had imagined for myself as an actor. I am very grateful to COLORS for giving me this opportunity. Akkabai is a character of many shades, so the audience will have a lot of entertainment as they see the different sides of my character unfold. I am very excited and hope that Akkabai becomes an iconic character in the history of television with my viewers love and support.”
