‘Bajirao Mastani’ singer Mayur Sakhare is going places
Music in our lives plays an important part. There will, hardly, be anybody who does not enjoy music. That’s the reason our films are filled with songs, which play pivotal role in the success of movies. In recent times Music Singles are getting support from music lovers. In the western countries some of the ‘singles’ singers are more popular than film stars. In Indian arena of ‘Singles’ a new name is making waves. He is Mayur Sakhre who has sung a few Bollywood songs too. Mayur has been trained by noted vocalist and playback singer Suresh Wadkar at Ajivasan Studio. Mayur, after completion of his training, got a break in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s ‘Khele Hum Jee Jaan Se’. Later he sang for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. The ‘Fituri…’ song became very popular and Mayur’s efforts were lauded by many from music industry. Mayur Sakhare collaborated with Aishwarya Bhandari for much talked (or heard) about single ‘Lamberghini’, which crossed 1 million plays in just a few days on Gaana. His latest song ‘Laapata’ is his first ‘Single’ which is a journey song finding his own self in this beautiful world. It’s lyricists are CA Rudra & Kaushal VG and music composer is Varun Bidye. Their song ‘Laapata’ crossed 22k + plays on Spotify in just one day. Incidentally Mayur is planning to release lyrical video of it very soon. Mayur has planned to release 10 songs this year, one Single a month. Also it’s a series of songs which includes all different flavors of songs. It’s an unique audio series of musical spectacular. He is experimenting with human moods and feelings through the songs. He plans to use 26 streaming platforms worldwide for his upcoming songs. He has recorded a cover version of ‘Yaadein’ for Tips and has playbacked for 3-4 upcoming films, details of which he can’t divulge. The musical journey of Mayur Sakhare is shaping very well and he’s sure to go places in the near future.
