Anjali Mukhi enters as Arjun’s mother in ‘Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story’
Colors’ Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story is at its peak with all the drama that’s entertaining the audience through and through.Pinky has finally taken the brave step out of a failed marriage which in turn has brought a swirl of challenges in her life. While she has been fighting it all with Arjun’s and Dadi’s support, everything flips to the worst when Arjun is attacked by Gagan and ends up in the hospital in a critical state. Amidst all this the show will see another twist with Anjali Mukhi’s entry. The famous television actress will soon be entering the show as Revathy Venkatraman, Arjun’s mother. A gynaec by profession and a singer at heart, Revathy is proud of her South Indian roots and loves to cook traditional south indian dishes. Stubbornness being a common trait between both the mother and son, they had fallen apart. Despite the differences, what brings Revathy back into Arjun’s life? Speaking about her character Revathy, Anjali Mukhi says, “Revathy is a very distinctive character and a kind I have not seen on television before. I was very happy when I was offered the role, because this character satiates my urge as an actor to keep doing something new and different. She is full of culture and is very smart, intelligent, beautiful and a witty lady. I will soon be starting with my shoot and I am eagerly looking forward to it.
