Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior wins a National Award for Best Popular Film, director Om Raut pens a heartfelt note!

Winning an award is an achievement for any film and if it’s National Award then it’s a matter of huge pride for everyone associated with the film. It was indeed a special day for the team of the movie that made history, #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior. The box office shattering film that was loved by the audience was a recipient of not one, but 3 national awards namely, Best Popular Film, Best Costume Design ( #NachiketBarve ) and Best Actor ( #AjayDevgn ).

Director Om Raut who is currently gearing up for the massive release of the magnum opus film, Adipurush shared a heartfelt note on the momentous day. Raut affirmed that “It is not only the most prestigious award that one can aspire to receive, but also the one that recognises the very best in the field of arts and culture. I am truly blessed and humbled and will use this honour that is bestowed upon me.”

The images from the award ceremony have taken social media by storm and now all eyes are fixed firmly on Om Raut’s next, the much awaited Adipurush, the teaser of which is being unveiled today in a grand ceremony in one of the most sacred cities in the world, Ayodhaya.
