Teams ‘Hit’ and ‘Shabhaash Mithu’ to v isit ‘India’s Laughter Champion’ sets!

This weekend, Sony Entertainment Television’s much loved comedy show India’s Laughter Champion will be choosing it’s semi-finalists! Adding a dash of entertainment and glamour, the Sunday episode will see ace actor Rajkummar Rao promoting his venture ‘HIT’ and leading into Sunday, the show will welcome the cast of ‘Shabhaah Mithu’ – Taapsee Pannu and Mithali Raj. Hosting the first round of the quarterfinals in the presence of judges Archana Puran Singh and Shekhar Suman, Chetan Shashital and Rajiv Nigam will be seen as the ‘Comedy Ke Sarpanch.’

Watch on as ace comedians Nitesh Shetty from Mumbai, Rajat Sood and Angad Singh Ranyal from Delhi and Abhay Sharma from Varanasi impress one and all with their unparalleled wit and humor! Even though only four contenders will receive the opportunity to climb the quarterfinals level, the viewers are definitely in for a laughter riot! Giving a few glimpses of what to expect this weekend, Nitesh Shetty and Ravi Gupta will individually give a take on the lockdown and make everyone roll off the floor laughing! “Dilliwala” Rajat Sood would be impressing the judges with his act on how he has become an ultimate ‘love guru’ and KT from Mumbai would be performing an act on how people usually behave at weddings. Moreover, Angad Singh Ranyal will be seen talking about how happy he is with his “paunch”, showing it proudly to giggling judges while Abhay Sharma from Varanasi would be blowing everyone’s minds with his acute observation skills, talking about how funny the game of cricket is!

Not only that but engaging in light banter will be Rajkummar Rao, talking about the best thing that happened to him during the lockdown and Taapsee Pannu recounting her college days with contestant Angad Singh Ranyal who was her college mate at the time.
