Teaser and poster of Lokesh Gupte directorial ‘Ashwath’ released, Swwapnil Joshi plays the lead!

Marathi superstar #SwwapnilJoshi has treated his fans on the occasion of the new year by sharing a glimpse of his new Marathi film #Ashwath to be released later in the winter of 2022. The teaser and poster of the film directed by #LokeshGupte were released on the eve of the new year. The teaser of the Ashwath is based on a famous shloka from Bhagvat Gita. The Sanskrit shloka roughly translates as“One should raise oneself by one’s Self alone; let not one lower oneself; for the Self alone is the friend of oneself, and the Self alone is the enemy of oneself.”

The Sankrit shloka is followed by, in the backdrop of a horse running at its fullest pace, with a Marathi verse which says,”Ashwath is the one who leads his life with self-esteem by tiding over the heart, wisdom, soul and ego.” The teaser denotes the rough idea about the script of the film leading to the rousing of the curiosity about the film. The curiosity has also gone northward after the Sanskrit sholka in the teaser is heard in the voice of Makrand Deshpande.The filmlovers are curious to know whether the leading theatre personality is the part of the film’s cast.

Swwapnil Joshi shared the teaser of the film with his fans and followers on the occasion of the new year. He said, “New year, new resolution…Nandi Ashwatthachi!!! (The foreboding of Ashwath!).”

The film is directed by noted director Lokesh Gupte. With his popular films like AB and CD, EkSangaychay, Runanubandh, Datebhet and Mungala, Lokesh has carved a niche as a director in the film industry. He is all ready to set a milestone with yet another out-of-the-box film Ashwath. The film will be released in the winter of 2022.
