Miss World 2025 is set to take center stage as #Telangana proudly hosts the prestigious 72nd Miss World Festival from May 7 to May 31, 2025. All eyes will be on Telangana as it prepares to welcome participants from 140 nations, offering a transformative platform to showcase its vibrant culture, heritage, and tourism potential on an unprecedented scale. The announcement was made at a grand pre-launch press conference at Plaza Hotel, Hyderabad, attended by esteemed dignitaries and global representatives.

The press conference commenced with a traditional pooja ceremony, symbolizing a blessed and prosperous beginning for the event. The occasion was graced by #MrJupallyKrishnaRaoGaru, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Culture & Excise, Government of Telangana; #MsJuliaMorley, CBE, Chairman and CEO, Miss World Limited; #MsKrystynaPyszková, the reigning 71st Miss World from the Czech Republic; #MrPatelRameshReddy, Chairman, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation; and #MsSmitaSabharwal, IAS, Principal Secretary, Tourism, Culture, Archaeology & Youth Affairs, Government of Telangana.

Hosting the 72nd Miss World Festival is more than just a prestigious event; it is a strategic milestone that aligns with Telangana’s vision to position itself as a global tourism and cultural hub. Speaking on this momentous occasion, Mr. Jupally Krishna Rao Garu, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Culture & Excise, Government of Telangana, stated: “We are immensely proud to welcome the 72nd Miss World Festival to Telangana.
