Tele-Celebrities graced the event ‘Maa2Mom’ at Sarova!

#Motherhood is a gift of nature which is treasured the most in a woman’s life. But a woman is much more than a mother, a wife and a daughter. In order to secure this very thought and transform it into a beautiful reality for women, #JyotiAgarwal started #Maa2Mom in 2015. Their vision is to inspire mothers and caregivers of all generations to recognise their passion and explore the journey of motherhood and beyond.

Maa2Mom successfully held a conclave in Sarova Mumbai on Saturday, where they had women from all walks of life. They conducted a business walk, and various panel discussions, featured multiple start-ups and also had the M2M Pitch Fest among other activities. Besides this, the event also saw the release of their magazine M2MTimes.

Jyoti Agarwal, Founder and Chairperson of Maa2Mom, said, “A lot of women start businesses from home, but they have neither the guidance nor support to build on them. M2M Conclave is here to fill that gap. It is our mission to support Moms to become successful Mompreneurs. And looking at the response, we are feeling very encouraged. More than 700 Mompreneurs attended the event, and we will be happy even if we have made a difference to a few.”

They are already a community of 80,000 plus mothers on Facebook and Whatsapp. Through these groups, they aim to help women by providing them with a safe environment to help mental health, recognise and promote women entrepreneurship, and parenting assistance, associate with NGOs and reach out to underprivileged women and kids through various NGOs as well as promoting art, skills and literature.

Tejal Barot, CEO of Maa2Mom, was excited about the Pitch Fest. “Isn’t it wonderful that smaller businesses got an opportunity to showcase their businesses and get funds to scale up their business? We had over 200 entries, from which we shortlisted a few that pitched today.”, she stated.

Finance is another sector they focus on. “Nita Sundararaju, CCO of Maa2Mom, added, “Most women are ill-equipped to deal with matters relating to Finance. We have provided mentorship in different areas of business, including finance, to make sure they are well rounded in their understanding of business.”

Celebrities who graced the event included Madirakshi Mundle, Gauri Tonk, Himani Shivpuri, Aditya Deshmukh, Sukhmani Sadana, Navin Prabhakar, Lizaa Malik and Naiyya Saggi. All the celebrities appreciated the noble cause of the community and its success for seven years.
