Tele-Celebs share their experiences of Rose Day!
Valentine’s week has begun and those in love definitely can’t keep calm. On the occasion of #RoseDay today, celebrities share the experience of giving a rose or getting one from someone they love. They also talk about how things went. Read on:
Sharad Malhotra – Honestly, I don’t remember my first Rose Day experience. But this Rose Day I will definitely give one to my life partner Ripci, because her soul is as beautiful as a rose and I love her immensely. Happy Rose Day to my Rose! No matter which day it is, our love for each other will remain the same.
Hansa Singh – Rose Day was so special during school days. I didn’t know I was a sought-after girl in school. Oblivious of this fact, when I got a rose from the most handsome boy in school I was like am I dreaming, and then I was showered with so many roses. I still can’t forget that day.
Rahul Sharma – I remember when I gave a rose to my first girlfriend, she was not sure what to do with it. She took the rose from me and walked away and was looking at me from a distance. Gradually she could feel my emotions and did keep the rose. I find it cute and whenever I remember that I have a smile on my face.
Angad Hasija – Roses are red, violets are blue… I know this poem has become very cliché, but it never fails to bring happiness to me. I gave my first rose to my mother when I was a little boy. My mother has kept that rose for so many years.
Harshali Zine – I was a very popular personality during school and college days. Every Rose Day I would receive red roses from boys known to me and from guys who I didn’t know at all. I remember when I was in 9th standard a bouquet of red roses was delivered to my house from an anonymous person. My first boyfriend gifted me an artificial red rose flower with a ring in it. Must say it was quite flattering and put me in seventh Heaven. Of course I have enjoyed all the attention. But I don’t think I have ever given a rose to anyone marking the occasion.
