Tele-Celebs share their happy songs on World Music Day!
India is a musical country. Every festival, event or celebration is incomplete without music. Music is everywhere, it’s in the rain, the wind that blows, the revving up sound of an engine, you just need to feel it. So on World Music Day, which is observed every year on June 21 to honour upcoming and established musicians, we spoke to a few celebs about their happy songs, and here’s what they had to say:
Sagar Parekh – Right now my favorite song is Runaway song by Aurora. This is the song I listen to when I’m happy, because it’s a soothing song.
Prateik Chaudhary – I don’t have one favourite song, but listening to Punjabi songs definitely cheers me up and makes me energetic. And even when I am happy then too I love to listen to them.
Sneh Binny – My happy song is Bombay Dreams by KSHMR & Lost Stories. The song released about a year ago, but I still can’t stop humming it.
Amit Mishra – My favourite song that always brings a smile on my face is Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana from the 1971 film Andaz. The music and the lyrics are just so good.
Gaurav Mukesh – Whenever I am happy I listen to Mohammed Rafi’s Gulabi Aakhen Jo Teri Dekhi from the film The Train. It’s a beautiful song and I can hear it any time, any day.
Nikhil Malik – To be honest I can’t choose any one song because I listen to a lot of songs and I can’t listen any one song on loop. But then too if I’m very happy I love to listen Animals by Maroon 5.
Nivedita Basu – Right now my happiness is also related to my child, so there are two songs which she makes her happy and she loves to dance on them, the first is Hrithik’s Song Ghungroo. She has been dancing to it since she was a year and half. And the other one is surprisingly Meri Gully Mein which has Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ranveer Singh. She keeps rapping it all the time. Infact I have made so many videos of her dancing on that song, so yes these are the two favourites.
Arun Mandola – I used to listen to Punjabi songs when I was happy but now I am bored of listening to normal songs, so I have started listening to raps because it’s a totally different genre and I like listening to to rap songs because it is very energetic and makes me happy.
Ashish Srivastav – I like Kabira lfrom Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. It is a beautifully picturized song and has such good vibes to it.
Sharad Malhotra – My all time favourite song is Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jana Sanam from DDLJ. Shahrukh Khan and Kajol’s chemistry was so good in the song, and the lyrics and all is just so beautiful.
