Illogical
The film is about a buxom art gallery owner Ronak (Sunny Leone), an amateur painter Veer Singh Rajput, who goes missing (Arbaaz Khan), a quartet of devious art dealers (Aarya Babbar, Baani Singh, Salil Ankola) and a clairvoyant lady (Sudha Chandran).
PLUS POINTS
The ‘supernatural thriller’, where the rogue dealers find themselves being kidnapped by the paintings they came to steal and chased by an angry spirit in the most surreal, unexpected ways, though illogical offer something new by way of novelty.
MINUS POINTS
Arbaaz Khan walks around with a dead pan expression when he is not required to stand before a blank canvas on an easel and fill it with a riot of colors. He gets rammed by a car, hit by a bullet and laid low by the butt of a gun. Sunny tries hard to act, but fails miserably to capture more than a couple of stock expressions.
VERDICT
With weak performances, forced VFX and a punctured script, ‘Tera Intezaar’ which is a cross between Jaani Dushman and Kahi Hain Mera Pyaar is a film you can avoid at any cost.
