The founder members of 1 OTT, including Swwapnil Joshi, visit Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai!

Leading actor #SwapnilJoshi is the founder and Brand Face of the ‘#1OTT’ platform which is the multilingual OTT platform’s Marathi arm. A new web series, #BlindDate, will be available free of charge. Also Kirtan Naad, a programme of kirtans and hit old Marathi films and documentaries made by #WhistlingWoodsInternational will telecast as opening fiesta.

‘1 OTT’, India’s Mobile TV has launched its Marathi platform with multiple contents of different genres as its launch fiesta. Apart from the Blind Date, the web series directed by noted director Samir Patil, the ‘1OTT’ will have Kirtan Naad, hit Marathi films from the decades 1980 and 1990 as its launching bouquet. The platform will also broadcast short films made by Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods International students. All this stuff will be telecast free of cost for the audience.

The founder members of 1 OTT visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi on the occasion of the launch of the platform. Leading actor Swapnil Joshi is the founder and Brand Face of the platform. It has been supported by a noted name in DTL activation Vinayak Satpute with founder members Venkatesh Shrinivasan, Rajiv Jani, leading banker Satish Utekar and noted name in entertainment industry Chetan Maniar.

The platform will prove the OTT of India by telecasting films and series in regional languages including Hindi, Marathi, Bengali among others.

Blind Date has been written by leading writers Manaswini Lata Ravindra and Apoorv Saathe. The ten-part web series features talented actors like Vishakha Subhedar, Saurabh Ghadge, Hemangi Kavi, Abhijit Khandkekar, Rupali Bhosale, Spruha Joshi, Hemant Dhome, Subrat Joshi, Puja Thombre, Bhagyarshri Limaye, Sayli Sanjeev, Gashmeer Mahajani among others. It is being telecast free of cost.

All the audience needs to do is download of 1 OTT, the mobile TV of India from their Google Play Store or App Store to watch the content on the platform. The multi-language platform has been created with the sole intention of giving entertainment of a class available to the people free of cost,” said Puneet Kelkar, COO, of 1OTT.

Noted actress Tanvi Palav has done compering for Kirtan Naad, which will feature leading kirtankaars, the performers of kirtan, in the program. The OTT platform will also telecast hit Marathi films from 1980s and 1990s. The short films produced by the students of Whistling Woods International, which is founded by noted Director and Producer Subhash Ghai, will be added attraction to the platform.
