Ardent fans of cinema, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Superstar Salman Khan have been eagerly waiting for the Hindi trailer of the film GodFather. Putting them at ease, the dynamic duo have just dropped the trailer among much fan fare at a grand event in Mumbai and watching the two together was certainly a moment to treasure for life!
Megastar Chiranjeevi and superstar Salman Khan will be seen sharing screen space, which in itself is the biggest attraction of the movie and Director Mohan Raja has brought magic to the silver screen with these outstanding artists, just as fans expect to see! As the two took to the stage, the audience gave them a thunderous applause after which they indulged in a detailed chat with those in attendance.
Chiranjeevi said “I want the cinema to be known worldwide as Indian Cinema without any segregation within bollywood or tollywood.Even after doing 150+ films , while working on this film i felt the same amount of excitement and energy as i did in my earlier days. While i was busy working on telugu films , i always wanted to show that there should be one film that is not a regional film or hindi film but an Indian Film”.
Salman Khan, who made his presence felt at the trailer launch said that ” when Chiran garu called me, he suggested a small role for me , i said -Chiran even if you are going to make me stand behind you , I am fine.” Salman added that, ” its not the question about big heart , but the love we both have for Indian cinema. Even after doing double or triple hero films , such instances have never occurred since we share a level of maturity and respect”
The Hindi trailer gives fans and viewers an insight into the essence of the film. The state’s chief minister PKR passes away, leading to questions on succession. While his daughter (Nayanthara) is not interested, his son-in-law (Satya Dev), and a few others in the party are at the heart of a power grab. Brahma (Chiranjeevi), the trusted man of the fallen stalwart, is drawn into the murky affairs and is keen to keep greedy sharks at bay.
Chiranjeevi delivers a strong performance as Brahma as well as GodFather. Style comes easy to Chiranjeevi and that is evident throughout his performance. Salman Khan’s aura on screen amplifies the punch moment. It’s an eye feast to watch them together. Nayanthara and Satya Dev are cool in their respective roles. Nirav Shah’s cinematography is top-notch, while S Thaman has fired up the scenes with his background score. Every dialogue uttered by Chiranjeevi is very powerful. This big budget and mega film is produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films.
GodFather is all set to releases in theatres on Dussehra, 5th October, 2022.
