This year’s #Holi celebration became even more joyous as comedian #RajuSrivastava, along with some upcoming creators of #ShareChat, India’s leading social media platform held a special audio chatroom session ‘#HoliMilan’ filled with poetry and laughter on the platform. During the session, comedy king Raju Srivastava shared some of the most interesting anecdotes from his life on how he celebrated the festival of colours and his experience of attending celebrity Holi parties in Mumbai, which had the audience laughing. The ShareChat creators presented some beautiful poetry pieces from their creative arsenal bringing Holi festivities alive for all the listeners.

Raju also talked about his journey of becoming a successful comedian and how it all started with mimicking his teachers. When he realized that he had the knack for tickling the audiences’ funnybones, there was no looking back for him. He shared instances of when he had performed for national leaders, famous celebrities and made them appreciate jokes
about themselves. He said that in today’s time, comedy as an art form has evolved spectacularly. Today, people are more open to getting laughed at.

During the discussion, Raju couldn’t stop himself from appreciating the creators and even got
emotional after hearing a creation written by writer and poet Yashasvi Chaturvedi on the role of men and their struggles, which reminded him of the important figures and role models in his life.
