The Forgotten Army heroine Sharvari, a gorgeous young girl from Mumbai, is on cloud nine as critics and audiences have given her rave reviews for her performance. In her debut outing, Sharvari has dazzled in the Kabir Khan directorial that is based on the untold story of the Indian National Army (INA). Sharvari plays the role of Maya who dedicates her life to win freedom for India and joins the Rani Jhansi regiment of the INA.
The young actress is thrilled with the response that she has been getting from all quarters. “It is a very overwhelming moment of my life and I feel over the moon that critics and audiences are appreciating my performance. All the preparation and hard work that I have put in to bring Maya to life is in front of people now and I’m delighted with the response,” she says.
Sharvari is definitely a solid performer as she will be next seen as a leading lady in Yash Raj Films’ big ticket film Bunty Aur Babli 2. She says she was nervous and excited for the release of The Forgotten Army. “I was excited yet nervous at the same time when The Forgotten Army premiered. It is my first project and it is for the first time that my credentials were being put to test! I’m grateful to everyone who have been showering all the love on me and the show and I thank them deeply,” the actress says.
The young artist is taking this success on her stride. She feels more confident as an actor now with the overwhelmingly positive feedback that she has received. Sharvari says, “For a young actor like me, this moment of validation is so important because it assures me that I am in the right direction. I really am short of words to describe this moment.’’
