Tiger Shroff’s mass appeal goes beyond the success of any one movie!
In the world of Bollywood, a movie’s performance is ultimately determined by its box office receipts. Even if Tiger Shroff’s most recent film, “Ganpath,” may not have achieved the desired results, a closer examination of his career reveals a narrative of lasting popularity and mass appeal that goes beyond the success of any one movie.
‘Heropanti’, which earned an impressive 6.8 crores at the box office, was his explosive debut film that launched his career in the industry. Subsequent movies such as ‘Baaghi’, ‘Baaghi 2’, and the action-packed ‘War’ further demonstrated his career’s upward trajectory by surpassing earlier opening figures and demonstrating his persistent ability to pull crowds into theaters.
The numbers speak volumes: ‘Baaghi 2’ more than doubled ‘Baaghi’s’ collection, standing at a striking 25 crores. ‘War’, in which he shared the screen with Hrithik Roshan, stormed the box office with a staggering 53 crores, marking a new high in his career. Even during the challenging times of the covid pandemic, ‘Baaghi 3’ managed to secure an impressive 17 crores in its initial run.
Despite the recent lukewarm response to ‘Ganpath’ garnering 4 crores in opening, a notable industry source said Tiger has remarkable consistency & his openings are unparalleled for the actors of his generation. These figures underscore his position as a bonafide box office draw and the poster boy for the masses. His blend of high-octane action, coupled with his dedication to pushing boundaries in dance and stunts, has carved a unique niche for him in the industry.
Tiger is set to captivate audiences with his upcoming ventures, starring alongside Akshay Kumar in “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” “Hero No1,” directed by Jagan Shakti , Rambo produced by Siddarth Anand and recently wrapped up some spectacular action in Hyderabad for Rohit Shetty’s “Singham Again.”
