Daamini (1993) : Sunny Deol and Meenakshi Sheshadri starrer Daamini is a perfect example of what a film with a strong female protagonist can look like. Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) : Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam is one of our all time favourite Bollywood movies. This was the one film which changed the perception of Bollywood movies.The magnificent sets, the beautiful costumes, the soul stirring music – it all came to life with this film. The film revolves around Nandini aka Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sameer aka Salman Khan who fall in love with each other but can’t be together. After Nandini is married to Vanraj (Ajay Devgn), he takes it upon himself to bring the lovers together. You can watch this movie over and over again, such is it’s magic.
