Rudra Soni aka Herod Antipas

&TV’s ‘Yeshu’ artistes talk about the core teachings of the Christ!

Compassion is passion with a heart. An apt example of this is Jesus Christ, who is renowned for his sufferings, sacrifices, leadership, compassion, and good deeds. As the entire world remembers Good Friday, the day Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for our sins, &TV’s Yeshu (Vivaan Shah), Joseph (AaryaDharamchand Kumar), Mary (Sonali Nikam) and Herod Antipas (Rudra Soni) of Yeshu talk about love and benevolence – the core teachings of the Christ.

Vivaan Shah aka Yeshu says, “I believe in the idea that there is good in everyone. It is with a little effort that one can find empathy for those around. I find myself drawn to nature and animals; they provide me with comfort. I love caring for them. I urge those who come across helpless strays, to care for them. There is no feeling better than that of taking care of mother earth and its children,”

Aarya Dharamchand Kumar aka Joseph shares, “In a world that has gone through some tough times, it is important for us to focus on the bright side of things. Jesus Christ was on the receiving end of atrocities, but his peace of mind and positive approach brought about a change. This Good Friday, I remember him, his selfless acts and his ultimate sacrifice.”

Sonali Nikam aka Mary shares, “Good Friday is a day for prayer and meditation. With the fast-paced lives we have succumbed to, it is essential for us to take a step back and realign our energies. This Good Friday light up the lives of those around you with a touch of softness and a whole lot of compassion.”

Rudra Soni aka Herod Antipas shares, “A very powerful day indeed, that is Good Friday. The name suggests a happy occasion, but the sacrifice Jesus Christ performed was an act above the rest. As a youngster, I believe we often get consumed by materialism and worldly things. We must lead the way with more warmth and sincerity in our hearts.”

Tune into to Yeshu at 8:00PM, Monday to Friday on &TV.
