URL Foundation’s Social Award Ceremony to be held on May 29!

Keeping the social consciousness, many dignitaries have preserved and cultivated their commitment towards the society till now. In order to express ‘gratitude’ towards the work of such dignitaries in the society, #URLFoundation celebrates ‘Gratitude Day’ on 29th May every year. Celebrating the birthday of Udayada Lad, President of URL Foundation, the day honours the dignitaries who have made their invaluable contribution in the social service field. This year’s social honour award ceremony of 2023 will be held on Monday 29 May at Shivaji Mandir Theatre at 18.00 hrs. wherein eye-specialist Padma Shri Dr. Tatya Rao Lahane will be present as the President of this award ceremony.

Dr. Shri Shailesh Shrikhande (Famous Oncologist), Dr. Pritam Samant (Eminent Ophthalmologist), Dr. Amol Bhingarde (General Physician) and Actor Sayaji Shinde (Artist and Tree Lover) will be felicitated on the occasion. The nature of this award is Rs 1 lakh and a badge of honour. Along with this, in memory of Narendra Dabholkar, an award of Rs 1 lakh will be presented to the Maharashtra Superstition Eradication Committee, Satara on this occasion. A magnificent concert of poetry by Ramdas Futane, Ashok Naigaonkar, Arun Mhatre, Sahebrao Thange, Mahesh Keluskar, Narayan Puri (Nanded), Gunjan Patil (Aurangabad), Bharat Daundkar (Shirur) etc. will be performed during the award ceremony. Admission to this event is free.
