Rajesh takes a firm decision to make the ladies leave their taboos behind, he pretends that he cut his finger and says he’s impure because of his bleeding finger, Radhika and Kalyani understand what he’s saying admit that they were wrong.

Sumeet Raghavan essaying the role of Rajesh Wagle said, “The current episodes have been interesting to shoot because it gives me an opportunity to speak about some very important and relevant topic like period taboo. My character tries to bust this complex stereotype that people have against women on their periods being impure by making them understand that traditions around periods were made to help ease women’s workload and give them a break from their routine and the fact that they were never meant to shame women. It is also the responsibility of men to speak up for their female family members and friends if they are suffering such prejudice in their houses. It is also our duty to make women feel comfortable rather than shaming them. I really like the fact our episodes highlight such relevant topics.”

Chinmayee Salvi essaying the role of Sakhi Wagle said,“This current series of episodes always made me eager to shoot because it tackles such a relevant topic of period taboo. Every girl at some point in her life must have been through an incident similar to Sakhi’s, but Sakhi was lucky enough for her dad, Rajesh Wagle, who stepped in to make everyone understand that periods do not make women impure or incapable of doing any household chores. Many women do not have that sort of a backing in their house and have to face hardships because of this taboo. I hope our episode will help people in seeing that periods are normal, and it initiates a cycle to break the chain of such taboos.”

Will Rajesh succeed in breaking the chain of period taboo amongst his peers and family? How will others react to his take on this topic? Keep watching your favorite show Wagle Ki Duniya Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey every Monday to Saturday at 9 PM on Sony SAB.
