‘Women Diaries’ to release ‘Women’s Anthem’ on IWD

IWD i.e. International Women’s Day is round the corner and as a tribute to women of the country makers of an upcoming film ‘Women Diaries’ has decided to release a song on women empowerment on IWD. As the name suggests the film underlines the problems faced by women, especially rape victim, and has promised to offer solutions to them.

Durector Surya recently announced film Women Dairies on the issues of rape and atrocities on Women, starring Mugda Godse and Sudha Chandran, is releasing a special song teaser on 8th March, 2021, to give tribute to women. Writer director Surya said, “This song is a women’s anthem which talks about the unspoken feelings of a woman and her sufferings.”

It is a rap song which is written by Abdul Rehamn, the music director is Vinnu and is sung by Rupali Jagga. This teaser lyrical video features the singer Rupali Jagga and the other women members of the team, who are the pillars of the film, i.e, Sudha Chandran, Mugda Godse and producer Sashi Vantipalli.

Under the banner of She Films, Women Diaries is produced by Sashi Vantipalli and directed by Surya. Fashion fame actress Mugdha Godse is the protagonist as a rape victim and Sudha Chandran as a lawyer. Sudha Chandran fights against the biggest issue of the country that is rape, molestation, sexual abuse against women.The film is about the tragic life of a rape victim and how she deals with the situation.

Ms. Rupali said, “It is a very special song as it is about issues that we all should talk about and it is releasing on 8th March,2021, on Women’s day, so wait and watch for it.”
