Women from a total of 25 countries including India, Uganda, Belgium, United Kingdom will participate in Miss Environment International in Mumbai!

The finale of Miss Environment International organized by #RushikeshMirajkar will be held on April 2 in Mumbai. During its press conference, the organiser of the beauty pageant, Rushikesh Mirajkar shared how beauty queens from 25 countries around the world including #India will participate in this competition.

He said, “As a director, I have organised many beauty pageants for others. I have worked as a show director in Thailand and Singapore. I have been organising the Miss India contest in the name of Tiara Miss India for the last five years. The idea of this unique show Miss Environment International came to me when I thought of having my own international beauty pageant, which would bring laurels to the country at the international level. It is not only industry related to fashion but social activity is also possible. Be it environmental issues, if there is anything related to cancer patients, then by giving a message, people can be inspired to walk on the good path, so I thought of it as Miss Environment International, because this word has a lot of meaning in itself.”

This is the first year of this beauty pageant. Total 25 women will participate in this competition, 20 contestants took part in the press conference, from March 24 the remaining 5 participants will also join.

Women from a total of 25 countries including India, Uganda, Belgium, United Kingdom will participate in it. The National Director will also be selected.

The winner of this beauty pageant is going to get a crown of 10 lakhs, there is a prize money of three and a half thousand dollars. Throughout the year, the winners will travel to four countries to promote the project. First Mauritius, then Zimbabwe, and later the United Kingdom. Soon, after they will come to India.

This beauty contest is going to be held under Memory Makers Event Management. This company is famous for fashion events and this will be their first international event.

Smt. Rekha Vijay Mirajkar who is into politics is also associated with this pageant. She has been associated with the fashion world, and has knowledge and experience about the stage.

Rushikesh further said that the country is changing, people have interesting ideas. He said, “Government of India, Government of Maharashtra, Thane Municipal Corporation have contributed a lot in organizing such a grand event in Mumbai. I thank everyone. It is not easy to get visas for women from so many countries, while the pandemic is still there, but it has been possible with everyone’s cooperation.”
