World television premiere of sex comedy ‘Takatak’ on Zee Talkies
Dada Kondke’s double-meaning dialogues were a rage in Maharashtra, once upon a time. Now Marathi cinema has gone a little further and turned to the sex comedy genre. But in Maharashtra, where the word ‘sex’ is taboo, ‘Takatak’, a sex comedy film, received a huge response and testified that Dada Kondke’s tradition will continue. Takatak is a slang in marathi language which loosely means highly pleasing, delightful, delectable etc.
Released in 2019, ‘Takatak’ was a box office hit. He also won many awards by entertaining the audience. The movie has been the talk of the town since its trailer and poster were out.
