‘Yere Yere Pavasa’ bags awards at the Tokyo Indie Film Festival
Water is immensely essential in human life. That’s the reason rains are awaited all around the world. The arrival of rain is a satisfying experience for all. The film ‘Yere Yere Pavasa’, which tells the similar story, has received a good number of nominations and awards at the 6th Top Indie Film Awards Tokyo, Japan.
The film ‘Yere Yere Pavasa’ has bagged nominations in the categories of Best Feature Film, Direction, Editing, Music and Best Concept and won awards in the categories of Best Cinematography and Best Sound. This year’s rains have made everyone happy. Director Shafaq Khan says, ‘This year our film has received awards at international film festivals in Toronto, Canada and now Tokyo (Japan). It’s a testament to the success of our attempt to tell an enlightening story through the film ‘Yere Yere Pavasa’.” The film is produced by Sharik Khan and co-produced by Anya Zang (Butterfly Films).
Presented by SQB Films India LLP, the film is directed by Shafqat Khan. The film is shot by Yogesh M. Koli and edited by Chandan Arora. The story is by Bhushan Dalvi while the screenplay is by Shafaq Khan and Bhushan Dalvi. The dialogues are written by Abhishek Kargutkar and Vinod Jadhav. The songs are written by Amol Powale as they have been set to music by Sushant Pawar and Kishore Pawar. Avadhut Gupte and Swapnil Bandodkar’s vocals have benefited the songs in the film. The sound is by Chakir Hussain and the art direction is by Yogesh Ingle. Satya Shetty, Gyanchand Chauhan, Sumedh Gaikwad are the executive producers.
