Zaan Khan feels, ‘I love to write poems, Shayari reflects my personality too’
Actor Zaan Khan is on cloud nine after going through his responses from the new show Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye and the portrayal of his role of Randheer Raizada. He says,”I am overwhelmed with the response to Randheer in Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye. It’s been a few days but the way the audience has responded it is mind blowing. As we all know, the show is set in the pre-independence era so a lot of hard work has been put in to get the right aura of that era. There are no fancy clothes, but the dialogues and scenes are very real and a lot of research went into it. It’s a blessing to be associated with Shashi Sumeet Productions.”
Randheer sports a very interesting look with his real moustache who speaks chaste Urdu and Hindi and also does a lot of Shayari. Speaking about that Zaan adds,”I have got so many messages on social media in which the fans have made reels of shayeri. I personally love Urdu shayeri, as the poems have some great emotional touch and also you get to say so many things in a very subtle way. I also love to write poems and pen down few as and when I get time.” He further adds, “Urdu Shyari is very rich. The words sound quite good. Shayari reflects my personality too. I feel we should have more awareness and virtual events too of poets just like singers. Shyari should reach more and more people. Shyari takes time to grow on people. My character is giving me ample opportunity to explore my poetic side courtesy my character.”
